1. Payment & Booking

1.1 Once your application has been provisionally accepted by Thailand LanguageCorps, you will be asked to pay a deposit fee of $500 which is fully refundable and the outstanding balance of the course fee must be paid 30 day before your course start date.

1.2 If for any reason you decide to cancel your place on a course, after you have made your deposit payment, Thailand TEFL cannot provide any refunds if we have already incurred costs in arranging your placement or if we have already refused other applicants. We will however hold your deposit payment in reserve for up to 12 months if you need to cancel for any reason and join a course at a later date.

1.3 You can defer start date only once without loss of your fees. You may defer your TEFL course start date up to 12 months of your deposit being paid. If you have paid in full you may also defer your TEFL course start date up to a period of 18 months of your deposit being paid, any deferred start date after the times specified will result in a total loss of fees.

1.4 The deposit can be used as part payment for any course on any date, subject to the availability of places. Applications cannot be transferred or deferred within 30 days of the start of a course that the applicant has agreed to attend. The balance of the course fee must be paid by credit card or in cash upon arrival at the training centre on the first day of the course.

1.5 If your course is cancelled for any reason. Your course fee's will be refunded minus your deposit but this may vary due to international currency exchange rates and Thailand TEFL will not be liable for any shortfall.

1.5 We have never cancelled a course due to lack of numbers however, If for any reason a course has to be cancelled for any reason we can offer you the following options.

a) A place on an alternative course date and/or location
b) A full refund of your deposit payment (See 1.2 and 1.4)

1.6 You are requested NOT to book flights or make any travel arrangements until you have received a second written confirmation of your placement from Thailand TEFL authorised staff. (You will receive this second confirmation within 7 days of making your deposit payment)

1.7 Thailand TEFL will not be held responsible for compensating or reimbursing any travel or accommodation costs, including flights and all other related expenses, under any circumstances whatsoever.

1.8 All students are subject to the disciplinary regulations of the training centre. The course director's decision is final. No refund will be issued to any student who is expelled from a TEFL course under any circumstances whatsoever.

2. Disclaimer

2.1 Your use of our service is at your own risk. Neither Thailand TEFL, nor any of its subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, agents, representatives or licensers shall be liable to you or anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or similar damages arising out of your access or use of, or your inability to access or use, the service and the sites and the information available on the service and the sites or arising out of any action taken in response to or as a result of any information available on the service and the sites. You hereby waive any and all claims against Thailand TEFL, and its subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, agents, representatives and licensers arising out of your use of the service and the sites and the information available thereon.

2.2 We've tried to make the information on this web site as accurate as possible, but it is provided 'as is' and we accept no responsibility for any loss, injury or inconvenience sustained by anyone resulting from this information. You should verify critical information (like visas, health and safety, customs and transportation) with the relevant authorities before you travel.

3. Job Placement

3.1 All Thailand TEFL approved TEFL certificates are accepted throughout the world by reputable organizations who employ English Language teachers. This means that you will most likely secure a teaching job before, or shortly after, you complete your TEFL course.

3.2 Please remember that all job placements are subject to an interview by the prospective employer. Due to the high number of sub standard applications ESL employers now receive by email we strongly recommend that you call, or visit prospective employers in person, rather than applying by email, to have any hope of a receiving a reply.

3.3 To date, we have not had one single course graduate wanting to teach, who has failed to secure a teaching position in Thailand. However, due to the many dynamics involved in the job recruitment and selection process we are unable to offer a refund of the deposit or course fees to any graduate who is unable to secure any teaching placement under any circumstances whatsoever.

3.4 All candidates will be provided the contact details of our job placement co-ordinator who can arrange job placements throughout Thailand. You will also get the personal contact details of up to 3 reputable employers in Cambodia who are currently looking for teachers and have agreed to give top priority to applications from Thailand TEFL graduates. It is your responsibility to contact the prospective employers by telephone or in person, present yourself professionally and arrive on time at the job interview. If, according to the interviewer, we are informed that you did not present yourself properly, or that you arrived late for the job interview, you will not be entitled to any refund of your fee. We should point out however that is situation is highly unlikely to arise.

3.5 No refund will be given to any candidate who, in our opinion, applied for these job placements solely by email and subsequently did not receive a response from our client schools.

3.6 Flights, travel insurance and all travel expenses to/from Cambodia, Thailand and the training centers (except pre-arranged airport pick ups) are NOT included in the course fees.

4. Company

1. LanguageCorps is accessible worldwide to anyone with Internet access. Access to and use of the Service and the Site are subject to the terms and conditions of this User Agreement and Copyright Notice and all applicable laws and regulations, including laws and regulations governing copyright and trademark. BY ACCESSING THE SERVICE AND THE SITE, YOU ACCEPT, WITHOUT LIMITATION OR QUALIFICATION, ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN THIS USER AGREEMENT. LanguageCorps reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. The changes will appear on this screen. By using the Service and the Site, you agree in advance to accept any changes.

2. We reserve the right to deny any user access to this website or any area of this site without notice.

3. The materials used and displayed on the Service and the Site, including but not limited to text, photographs, graphics, illustrations and artwork, video, music and sound, and names, logos, trademarks and service marks, are the property of LanguageCorps and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Any such content may be displayed solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to modify, reproduce, retransmit, distribute, disseminate, sell, publish, broadcast or circulate any such material without the written permission of LanguageCorps.

4. The Service and the Site contains information, facts and opinions from various individuals and organizations. THE SERVICE AND THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF TITLE OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN THOSE WARRANTIES WHICH ARE IMPOSED BY AND INCAPABLE OF EXCLUSION, RESTRICTION OR MODIFICATION UNDER THE LAWS APPLICABLE TO THIS AGREEMENT. 5. Your use of the Service and the Sites is at your own risk. 6. Any communication or material you post or transmit to the Service and/or the Sites is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and non-proprietary. You assume full responsibility for anything you post or transmit, and you grant LanguageCorps and its affiliates the right to edit, copy, publish and distribute any information or content you post or transmit for any purpose.

7. LanguageCorps and its affiliates do not review or monitor any web sites linked to the Service and the Sites and are not responsible for the content or behavior of any such linked web sites. Your linking to such web sites is at your own risk.

8. This User Agreement and any disputes arising out of or related to the Service and the Sites shall be governed by, and construed and enforced in accordance with, the laws of the State of Delaware.
